For less than the price of a coffee a month you can support an essential local news service for everyone!
How does the Forster Fortnightly newspaper operate as a free news source?
We are often asked how we operate. The Forster Fortnightly relies solely on paid advertising from our fabulous local businesses and organisations to remain viable.
How can you support this service?
There are two ways to support this news service.
- By joining the many local businesses and organisations who happily advertise in the Forster Fortnightly.
- By sponsoring the Forster Fortnightly for less than the price of a coffee a month!
Who publishes the Forster Fortnightly?
The Forster Fortnightly is proud to be a local family-owned business. Since 20 August 2020, the Yule family have published and delivered 7,000 FREE newspapers fortnight across the Forster Tuncurry region every fortnight. The Forster Fortnightly is also FREE online – making it accessible for everyone. You may have seen Yule family members delivering and restocking shelves from Hallidays Point in the north, to Seal Rocks in the south!
How has the Forster Fortnightly helped the community since 2020?

- Provided a Letter to the Editor feature for people to have a voice and an opportunity to reply.
- Provided a free Local Calendar & Weekly Diary for local events and clubs.
